The Pokemon character Pikachu is derived from this animal. These relatives of rabbits live in burrows under rock slides and/or logs in mountainous regions. American Pikas are about eight inches long when full grown. They stay active all year and stash food (plants) to get themselves through the winter. They're timid but inquisitive animals and will sometimes come out to see what all the noise is when I'm clamboring around in a rock slide.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
